Cosentiniintheworld is the web site for people who have a connection with the city of Cosenza. It was set up to host contributions on our local history, culture, habits and traditions from people who live away from Cosenza. It also welcomes people who live in Cosenza but feel they belong to an international community and want to share ideas and experiences with other CSIW members, who are located in the five continents.

In our web site you will find traditional recipes (cucina), up-to- date reports on the latest performances of our football team (magico), travel and other stories contributed by various members (reportage), a small but exciting range of merchandise (shop), as well as links to other Cosenza-related sites.

One of the site's driving forces is our community section (comunità), with a current membership of just over 260. The forum, hosted by Yahoo, is open to all those who wish to exchange information and ideas on a wide range of topics, including politics, society, culture, sport, economy, cookery, fashion and music. Joining the forum is very simple: just fill in your personal profile with your full name and location. We also ask new members to tell us something about themselves and their relationship with Cosenza.

Forum members have been known to enjoy the occasional "in-the-flesh" meeting, both in or around Cosenza and in the areas where membership is highest (Milan, for example). Individual members have also made efforts to meet up when visiting each other's places of residence.
